Many of you know that the Laie Temple will be rededicated very soon. Mom and Dad had the privledge of being tour guides to those coming to the open house. One of their favorite places to visit with the groups was the sealing room. They stood in front of the reflecting mirrors and bore testimony several times of the blessings of Eternal Families. They cherished this opportunity as they are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year (and still in love!). Dad shared today that they had done this five or six times in a row the day before Mom's diagnosis. The blessings of reflecting upon their Eternal Marriage were even sweeter and precious as they were given such seperating news. Tender Mercies have been showered upon Mom and Dad and upon our Family by a VERY loving Heavenly Father-He knows us, He loves us, He is giving us this gift of Time with Mom.
The picture above is from Brett's Homecoming this summer. We are missing many of the grandkids and Pete's family who were unable to come.
